Description

Drill fretboard side dots that are perfectly centered and straight as an arrow! Center line and fret reference lines make for easy alignment.  Optional hardware kit provides everything you need to build the sample jig shown except the wood.

Scale length options:

  • 25.5" / 24.75" / 24.625" (Fender / Gibson / Gibson Vintage)
  • 25.34" / 24.9" / 24.75" (Acoustic)
  • ask about other scale lengths

Hardware option kit includes:

  • star knobs (qty 3)
  • bolts (qty3)
  • t-nuts (qty 3)
  • toggle clamps (qty 2)

1/4" Acrylic. Wooden jig not included.

    Side dot inlay jig

    This just came in and I'm super excited to put it to use! I'm always measuring twice for side dot inlay placement. This will make my life significantly easier and my craftsmanship more accurate.

    Mike did a great job developing this jig and it works perfectly in my shop. The acrylic template is easy to line up and the optional hardware kit help me to make an absolutely stellar semi permanent jig that I can fix to my work bench. No more wonky dots! Thanks Mike

    This jig is absolutely great. Time saving and ensuring perfect placement of side markers. Amust have for any shop!

    This jig is a most important one for doing side dots. I find using a jig always beats measuring. Just as other products I've purchased from Potvin, extraordinary work. Love this company.
