Mike listened to my ideas about what I wanted, and helped me design and create a really great truss rod channel template set for my builds based on the parameters I wanted for the rods I use. I've had it for 6 years now, and it's still holding up really well. I've used it on dozens of builds at this point, and it still works as well today as it did the day I got it out of the box.

This os the third fret template I’ve ordered from Potvin. The quality is surpassed by none, fast production time and making it very easy to offer my own customers whatever they desire without long downtimes in crafting. This will not be the last time I order from Potvin!

I asked Mike to customize some templates for me. After ordering some of his standard templates, I could see the quality was second to none. Although building guitars from scratch is fun, it takes a lot of time and patience to draw, cut a piece, and sand it into shape. I debated building my own templates, but again it would have taken me hours to get it just right. So instead I decided to ask Mike whip something up. I am so glad I did. The templates are perfect, the dimensions are extremely accurate, and they will be a real time saver. Well worth the money. Mike's work and his customer service are professional quality. You won't be disappointed.

I emailed Mike about having some jigs and templates made up for routing the truss rod channel and some tapered channels for carbon fiber rods. He also made up an extended scale neck and fingerboard so that I can build a baritone version of the 7-string template. The whole process was incredibly simple on my end, and Mike was exceedingly accommodating. If you want something that he doesn't have in his store, just email him and ask! The costs are totally reasonable and you will not be disappointed with the end result.
