Floyd Rose Routing Template

Unfortunately I misplaced or didn't get the instructions but was able to figure it out. The recessed template is nice because it gives you the option of the whole recess routed at once, or doing each half separately if you're not comfortable with manually changing your recess depth lower than your post deck depth. Thick enough to use my 1/4" router bit for the outline and a much larger bit on the 1/2" machine to clean up the floor. POTVIN GUITARS: Thanks Mike! This set does a great job keeping the amount of wood you remove around critical points like the pivot posts at a minimum. The instructions are detailed in all the right ways, with helpful pictures to follow along with. The end result in the body looks great as well.

Of all routing needs when building a guitar, the floyd rose trem seemed the most daunting to me, but this really made it come out perfectly!

An instructional video on website showing different tips and hacks would be awesome for newbies.

I'm still old school, so the only thing I would have liked to have would be printed instructions, rather than online. Besides that, the template is perfect.

Right away was impressed with the quality and attention to detail. The center lines are as close to perfect as I could ask for and everything lines up with the other templates I'm using ('62 S-style template set). The templates are heavy-duty and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. They are cut flawlessly. Tolerances are spot on! Good to know that they will last a long time as well. (Side note: was a little unsure about having to pay for FedEx Ground delivery but my templates arrived WITHOUT any damage whatsoever. Packaged well to ensure no damage during delivery.)
