S-Style Template Set
The classic '62 S-Style Template set is available in a variety of configurations. Choose from top routed (the "normal" S-Style with a pickguard), or back routed (no pickguard). For the back route version you'll want to also add one of the standalone control cavity sets to your order. Once you've chosen top or back route, you can choose from a few pickup options. A standard S-Style would be SSS, but you can also choose HSS (humbucker in the bridge position) or HSH.
Also available in in a Hardtail (non-trem) version
1/2" MDF with engraved center lines and reference markings.
Requires body blank minimum 18.5" x 13" (47cm x 33)
Requires neck blank minimum 26" x 4" (66cm x 10)

My first set of Potvin templates and definitely not my last...
I purchased this set initially as part of another template order. Having compared the templates to just about everything else available, these are undoubtedly the best you can buy. Pinpoint accuracy, greater thickness and material quality, and it is actually a very versatile set. I used the neck pocket template over a dozen times to make other bolt-on templates and guitars, and it is absolutely perfect - resulting in a better fit than most of my commercially built instruments.

The Very Best!!!
I had some templates I bought on EBay a few years ago. They were okay. They were made from thin and flimsy hardboard. You had to be careful. A few months ago I got some templates from Mike Potvin. These are amazing, made from solid 1/2" mdf with engraved centre lines and marked for the tuners these templates are the very best I have ever worked with or seen. Mike is great to deal with and a true gentleman. I would highly recommend purchasing these precision templates before you start you next build. Worth every penny!!!!
