T-Style '69 Thinline Danelectro inspired body

This body fits our selection of Telecaster necks like a glove!  Save when you buy a neck and body together. Recommended parts list is below.

Inspired by vintage Danelectro™ guitars, this unfinished T-Style '69 Thinline body has some "under the hood" modern improvements but still has the vintage vibe Danos are known for.

The original Danos had a poplar core made up of small pieces glued/stapled together to form a frame. Our improvements include starting with a solid poplar blank and maintaining a beefy center block from the neck pocket to bottom strap button area. We've also left extra material around the jack area to make it sturdier.

Once the Masonite (hardboard) top and back are applied, we've routed the back for one of our popular String Retainer Blocks to give you a better string-through-body experience. We even include the string retainer block!

For a limited time, we're including a white Masonite pickguard for extra Danelectro-style "mojo". Get in touch if you'd like a more upscale plastic pickguard.

Project bodies require some sanding and preparation work prior to painting. Danelectro-style project bodies may include quirks and imperfections similar to the original Danelectro models.
