    Skip the headache

It is just four holes right? Sure if you feel like drawing several lines, and carefully measuring and marking, and hoping you get it right... Nah, just get this and call it a day.

Great jig for a complicated task

Being able to locate the post studs and tailpiece studs all at once is great. For the less-experienced user, it might be kind of confusing to figure out exactly how you should use this thing, but it's not hard at all. All you need to do is figure out where your intonation point is for the bridge you're planning to use for the High E saddle specifically, and give yourself a perpendicular line to the center line for the front of your bridge location. Draw that across the template, and put the same perpendicular line on your body blank, making sure it's extended out wider than the template is. Just line it up with those two lines on the body, and it's a piece of cake.

Great template but could use something

I am fairly new to this but this template is hard to keep lined up as the guitars is arched and the template is flat.
