Description
The LP Special is essentially a 2 pickup (soapbar P90s) version of the LP Jr Singlecut. The simplified neck joint also makes this set perfect for those new to building set-neck guitars. Remember to order a set of Neck Angle Wedges to make setting the neck at the correct angle a snap.

1/2" MDF with engraved center lines and reference markings.

Excellent templates!
I own a couple of Potvin template sets and they are great. They are laid out in a logical way and they make for nicely fitting neck joints. In addition, Mike is very responsive to questions that I have had. That's a huge plus for me.

Uncommon personal approach to customer service
Mike is genuinely helpful. He won't leave you hanging if you get stuck. I can't figure out how to edit my review, but if you look at the SG, the 2 ° angle I mentioned is wrong. You want 3°, but you should line up your saddle line and check the height of your bridge. I had to shim my home made wedges. 3.5° was 14mm, and enough to fit the Nashville tune-o-matic I am using. I've created my own mash up of the SG and LP, and I'm using mostly LP dimensions. Great set of templates. I ordered this, the SG and the RD Artist sets. Should keep me busy for a while. Treasures, all of them. Gooooo, Potvin!
