Good solid wood wedges that are indispensable
I've been sliding scraps of wood under one side of a template to get a neck angle. Pretty hit & miss, not very stable, body contours drove me nuts, and repeat-ability for second cut was impossible. All those problems solved. Thanks Mike!
I had been trying to determine how best to set up a and route an angled neck pocket on a guitar body I am building. I came across the 3 degree wedges on the Potvin website. They are the perfect solution for my needs. I will definitely look there first next time I need a guitar template or jig.
Bought the 3 degree neck angle wedge kit and a pick up route template and I'm super happy with them both! It's great that that you ship all the way to Sweden.
I needed the correct angle for the installation of a neck, and Mike came through! AGAIN! The pieces are long enough to be used on even the biggest bodies! Thanks Mike!
Mike makes building guitars and templates that much easier. Ensuring a perfect route angle and depth every time thank you Mike
These are worth their weight in gold. Mike's neck wedges took all the guesswork and most of the setup time out a time consuming task for me. Thanks Mike!
Being well aware of MIke's superb craftsmanship as a guitar maker, I had no doubts that these neck wedge kits would be the finest that money can buy, and he certainly did not let me down! I also appreciated the fast turnaround. And while I haven't had the chance to actually route a neck pocket yet with them, they are clearly very well made and precisely machined.
